Cayo Largo
Cayo Largo was the next stop of our trip where we stayed at the Hotel SOL CAYO LARGO.
Even the way from Havana was performed with a 10-hour delay and a surprise with an old Antonov cargo plane with no windows.
The hotel is run with 4-stars, but is for international relations only four max. 3-star well. Breakfast would cut quite well if, yes if that were not with the coffee. The oily, foamy Something in the cups is not itself be described as coffee at all benevolence. But there is an alternative. 50 meters away from the breakfast room is available in the bar excellent coffee in many varieties!
The menu is not necessarily varied. The entrees are a stepchild of cuisine. But it should be mentioned that the suckling pig with crispy skin have never tasted better than in the SOL CAYO LARGO! In nicely furnished A'la carte restaurant service is unfortunately inattentive and partly unfriendly.
We had a very nice room, very close to the beach. About the dunes leads a new bridge to the sea. Unfortunately is not handicapped!
Beach restaurant and beach bar complete the offer. The beach has plenty of beach chairs and beach umbrellas and a private beach for nudists. Unfortunately, there is today in almost all hotels in the world people, varying from 5 to 8 in the morning can not sleep partout, rush to the beach to reserve beach chairs. Then these people will no longer be seen until after lunch!
The beach is sandy without stones and slightly sloping, so that even inexperienced swimmers advised not immediately panic.
