Vinales
Following the bathing stay on Cayo Largo, we were starting in Havana, a tour with a rental car. About Pinar del Rio, past tobacco plantations and on the observation deck of the Hotel Los Jazmines the trip went to the hotel Rancho San Vicente. In this hotel we had booked two nights. We wandered around the formerly small village Vinales and annoyed us in the evening because we did not find a free table in a restaurant. A "must" is a visit to the observation deck at the Hotel Los Jaminez. Nowhere else where you have a beautiful view of the Valle de Vinales with the fields, mountains and Mogotes. We visited tobacco farmers during the harvest and drove in the outlying fishing village of Puerto Esperanza. Be careful when visiting a private restaurant, sometimes the prices are outrageous!
