JAISALMER CITY TOUR

The next morning was first the Lake Gadisar and then a visit to the fortress and the old town is contained in the programme. Also we hiked from the marketplace by the 5 gates after up to the old town. It was really impressive what wealth of Havelis, citizen houses, towers and temples are there in this fortress. A visit to the Museum KOTHARI's PATNA with the wonderful rooms, it should not be forgotten also. The Palace, the Jaina Temple, the Museum and the Havelis are a true splendor. With a tour of the market district in the lower city, we ended the visits.

JAISALMER BESICHTIGUNG

Am nächsten Morgen stand als erstes der See Gadisar und anschliessend die Besichtigung der Festung und der darin enthaltenen Altstadt am Programm. Auch wir wanderten vom Marktplatz durch die 5 Tore nach oben zur Altstadt. Es war wirklich beeindruckend, welche Fülle von Havelis, Bürger-Häusern, Türmen und Tempel es in dieser Festung gibt. Einen Besuch im Museum KOTHARI`S PATNA mit den wundervollen Zimmern, sollte man ebenfalls nicht vergessen. Die Palastanlage, die Jaina Tempel, das Museum und die Havelis sind eine wahre Pracht. Mit einem Rundgang durch das Marktviertel in der Unterstadt, beendeten wir die Besichtigungen.
