BIKANER
After the city tour with a guide in Mandawa, we started again at 11: 00 am, the trip to BIKANER. Already at the entrance to Bikaner, the English-speaking tour guide of the Agency, Mr. WASIM, we were welcomed and immediately started with the surveys. We started the sightseeing tour with the magnificent JUNAGARH FORT, then drove to the CAMEL BREEDING FARM (camel breeding farm) with the many young animals. By the way, in all Rajasthan called CAMEL although there are Dromedaries. The LALGARH PALACE was closed on Sunday and could not be visited. Unfortunately, I had found this fact nowhere as info.
After a stroll through the old town we were still in the BHANDESHWAR Temple and in a Studio for Miniaturmalereien, Mr. SHIV where we also have a small drawing SWAMI.
BHANWAR NIWAS PALACE hotel we checked in late in the evening. At the time of booking, we had to pay a suite because all DeLuxe rooms were already fully booked. But we got the room 28 on the first floor and it remained there despite the urgency and some unfriendly words of receptionists. A room can be a suite, was his statement! Is not necessarily recommended, because the approach through winding and narrow streets with stoic, cows was very difficult.

BIKANER
Nach der Stadtbesichtigung mit einem Guide in Mandawa, starteten wir, wieder um 11:00 Uhr, die Reise nach BIKANER. Bereits bei der Einfahrt nach Bikaner wurden wir vom englisch sprechenden Reiseleiter der Agentur, Mr. WASIM begrüsst und sofort mit den Besichtigungen begonnen. Wir starteten die Sightseeingtour mit dem prächtigen JUNAGARH FORT, fuhren dann zur CAMEL BREEDING FARM (Dromedar-Zuchtfarm) mit den vielen Jungtieren. Übrigens, in ganz Rajasthan spricht man von CAMEL obwohl es Dromedare sind. Der LALGARH PALACE war am Sonntag geschlossen und konnte daher nicht besichtigt werden. Leider hatte ich diese Tatsache nirgends als Info gefunden. Nach einem Bummel durch die Altstadt waren wir noch im BHANDESHWAR TEMPEL und in einem Studio für Miniaturmalereien, bei Mr. SHIV SWAMI wo wir auch eine kleine Zeichnung erstanden.
Im Hotel BHANWAR NIWAS PALACE checkten wir spätabends ein. Bei der Buchung mussten wir eine Suite bezahlen, da alle DeLuxe-Zimmer bereits ausgebucht waren. Aber wir erhielten das Zimmer 28 im ersten Stock und trotz Urgenz und einiger unfreundlicher Worte des Rezeptionisten blieb es dabei. Auch ein Zimmer kann eine Suite sein, war seine Aussage! Ist nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen, da auch die Zufahrt durch verwinkelte und enge Gassen mit stoischen, Kühen sehr schwierig war.
